The Settlers – My City
by posted Jul 1,2010

Ubisoft launches the social game on Facebook and Unveils The Settlers: My City, a title inspired by the famous series of management games.

Love him or not, the game definitely creates social debates in the gaming industry. After Electronic Arts has invested heavily in buying the developer Playfish, it’s time for Ubisoft to launch it with a new title for Facebook called The Settlers: My City.

Based on the popular game franchise management, The Settlers: My City is proposing to run a kingdom by taking care of its production lines, but also go on quests, and extend the borders of our kingdom by war or diplomacy.

The game, officially announced early this month, is the moment in a first beta test in which it still lacks many of the features, but can gild and already being played to that address.

There is absolutely nothing to do in this game, and it should never have been released like this. Payouts from producing are way too small, so are really good for nothing. It is definitely not worth sticking around for a few coins, every half hour..nor is it worth it to bounce in a……nd out of this game.

Developers should really rethink their idea of releasing a tiny portion of a game and expect players to stick with them. This ticks people off and they spread the word. There are a ton of games on FB. People tend to get very selective.

Great concept there..but you should have waited until there was something to play. Its unplayable the way it is.
