Kung foo online is a free to play cartoon-ish mmorpg, created and published by the Perfect world Entertainment, which is currently in a Closed Beta test phase. Set in a beautiful Chinese based land, with cute and interesting character designs and many quests that will actually catch our attention. Kung Foo online is the new mmorpg promise with a strong pet system, which is in fact the brightest feature in the whole game since unlike many other games in which you have to pay or do a hard quest in order to get a pet. In Kung Foo online, you can get it since you create your avatar and log in to the game for the first time. Anyhow, in the next review, we will get inside the beautiful and crazy Kung Foo lands and look a bit closer what this mmorpg is about.

Kung Foo Online Features:

What can we find in Kung Foo online that is unique? If that’s the question that came up to our minds then we should keep reading because the next features will give us, a big gaming orgasm!. The first thing anyone might think is ‘this is another perfect world ‘game. However, if we actually play it and give it a try, soon we will find out that we were pretty wrong. Anyhow, let’s describe some of the actual features we can find in this game. One of those, from all of the current ones, is the pet system. It can be sum up with one word ‘innovative’. As for, it’s the first time that a free to play online game give us the option of choosing a pet in early levels and also to customize it without paying for extra features.

But how does this system work out? It’s easier than we think. we should only create a new character and after we finish customizing our avatars. We will start out in a new fresh world, being nothing else than a Grasshopper ( first class for newcomers ), after we give a few steps in the beautiful Panda Province. We must seek for the Pet Master who is in the same town. When we find him, we must talk to him and select the quest related option. finally, he will talk with us and he will tell us to select one of these three cute pets: the flying type ( a baby eagle ), the fearless type ( a baby tiger, ‘the cutest’) and the insect type ( a tiny baby bug ). If this was a surprise for people who love the tame or a pet system in mmorpgs. Then, we will be hooked up with the fact that our pets can evolved. As being our main companions in all our adventures, they will get into bigger forms with different and customizable skills, sometimes they will be stronger than us. Besides, the fact that we can make our own pet skills and also transform ourselves into any bizarre creature. Actually, that’s the transformation system. If the pet sytem was incredibly detailed and interesting. Then, most of us will fall in love with this one.

The transformation system, works among some of the gifts you can get from completing quests or drops, we will get by killing creatures. However, the main advantage we can get from this system is the fact that we are able to use the creatures skills and we can also use our own while being transformed. In this way, These are not the only interesting features, we can find in Kung Foo. Since, another special feature, is the team oriented quests which we will get while we progress in the game. Naturally, this means that Kung Foo is more a team oriented game. That’s why we will not only find solo or improvement quests, since we also will face bosses quests in which we will have to seek for strong partners to defeat them .These were some of the features, we will find once we start our journey in Kung Foo online. Anyways for more detailed features, we will be able to find the next ones:

* Martial Art Disciplines( professions ) – 7 available to master at launch; including ‘Grasshopper’, ‘Sharpy’, ‘Mager’, ‘Tank’, ‘Slasher’, ‘Medico’ and ‘Augurer’
* Themed Big Zones ( 6 available to explore at launch): including Panda Province, Snaf Foo, Fuzzy Forest, Zui Quan Village, Realm of Darkness and Enchanted Glade .
* Hilarious Quests – Hundreds of quests to choose from to help channel your inner Foo.
* A deep Character Customization and Mounts: Mix and match your character; be whatever you want! a street punk, cowboy or a mix of both, while riding a crab mount with boxing gloves Crafting , For those few killer items that don’t fall from the sky.

The disciplines ( Martial art professions )

Kung Foo offers us a wide variety of classes or professions, which we already mentioned like an interesting feature. Anyhow, let’s make a deep review of what we can find from all these professions. In the fairly and lovely town of Panda Province (the newbie town) . We will start as GrassHoppers which is equal to any newbie class in any other the mmorpg . However, in order to take one of the professions available, we will have to get our characters to level 10. We will do it in no time if we do and complete our main quests. After we get to level 10, we will receive a special quest for an ascension which will tell us to talk with the Major boss.(An Npc located in Panda province). Once we talk with him, he will give us a simple quest to get our desire class upgrade .Later on, when we are done and after going back to him. He will give us two options to choose from which are the Melee or the Range way so that’s why we should select one of them carefully since after this, we won’t be able to change our classes anymore. Now, let’s see a detailed and brief description of every martial art profession which are available in Kung Foo online.

- The Grasshoper

It’s first class we will be, once we log in to Kung Foo online for the first time. It’s the typical melee class for newcomers and it only has three available skills. Anyways, we won’t be Grasshoppers for so long since we will get an ascension quest once we hit level 10.
