The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks Review

Wiglington And Wenks is a fun, educational virtual world for kids. This really encourages kids of all ages to learn about history, geography, and much more!

Before I started playing Wiglington And Wenks, I had no interest in history or geography. I was introduced to the game by Daniel T, a moderator of the current game. I enjoyed it so much, and now am excited about taking geography and history. Who knew learning could be so fun!

After I really started to enjoy the game, the official Open Beta was coming to an end, and launch was our next stop! The launch was amazing, and was defiantly the start of our success. Soon after launch, Party Masters and WW Reporters were elected. I was lucky to be one of the 11 Trainee Party Masters, along with being a WW Reporter. I now go on Wiglington And Wenks daily, and learn new things daily!

Don’t forget about the amazing chat system. This allows other players to communicate with each other and make new friends. Also, to parents, Wiglington And Wenks is completely safe. They can not give away ANY personal information at all, or a Moderator/Party Master will have the right to kick, or even ban them. Moderators/Party Masters come very frequently, and are always nice.

Fashion is no issue either. There are tons of clothes and costumes to chose and buy. You can customize your character when you register, and give them your own since of style.

Membership is cheap and worth it. It comes with virtual Credits, which you can also buy separately. These Credits can get you exclusive cloths and costumes that will make your player look fabulous.

Wiglington And Wenks is a great opportunity. Some school teachers are even recommending it! The game launched December 24th, 2009 so it’s still pretty new! Join now, the adventure awaits!

Traveling(travelling):

One of the main reasons I play it is because of the variety of places you can travel to. These include The Great Barrier Reef(Australia), The Espalande(Singapore), The Grand Canyon(United States), and many more places to come! And when you go to these places, you can buy local clothing from there, awesome games, and just enjoy the graphics. I will get into detail with that later on.

Friends:

You might think, hey, I have friends in all other virtual worlds, who needs to play Wiglington & Wenks for that?! Well, in this game friends has a different definition. In other games, a ‘friend’ or ‘buddy’ means someone who you click on their player card, and then choose ‘add buddy’, or something like that. In Wiglington & Wenks, it means someone who you can talk to in happy and sad times.

Virtual Clothing:

In this game, you can buy a variety of costumes, such as a monkey costume, a cowboy costume, and even a pirate costume! Some of them even do special actions! Like if you buy a super monkey costume, you can do the special monkey action(dancing), or if you purchased the tiger costume, you can the the special tiger action(roaring). Of course, when purchasing these ’special item costumes’, you have to pay a higher price.

Safety:

If you’re a parent reading this, or even a concerned kid like me, you won’t have to worry about any bad features in the game, or even about bad people who go on the game. This is thanks to the friendly staff(will go into detail later), and also because of the chosen moderators(will go into detail later) who dedicate their playing time to watching out for trouble makers.

Games:

When you’re bored, playing a good game is the best thing to do in Wiglington & Wenks. From shooting a bow to taking photographs of wildlife, there’s a wide range of games to choose from to play. Each location has a set of 3 games each, the games are very challenging, and also very exciting.

Currency:

They’re two different currencies in this VW, one of them being called rollars(rhymes with dollars), and the other one being called with the simple name of credits. Rollars are earned by playing games, they can be won in contests(official and unofficial), and they also can be bought with real money. Credits can be won in contests(official and unofficial), and be purchased with real money. Unfortunately, they cannot be earned virtually, but with credits you can buy super costumes, and even better looking pets(will go into detail later).

Pets:

The pets in this game are awesome. They look awesome, they smell awesome, they taste awesome. They also have wacky names, and even some mythical ones. Currently there are frebos, grebos, nians, and lochnessbabies. Lol, funny right?
