Blade Wars is a F2P Chinese martial arts MMORPG that is first released in China during 2007 and later published in North America. Blade Wars allows players to strategize with a customizable fighting system that encourages skilled players to challenge each other for supremacy – making this a game that seasoned MMO veterans will truly appreciate.

Blade Wars is set in the fantasy magical world where Abyssals, Humans, and Immortals battle for dominance. Blade Wars contains a battle system that encourages players to challenge each other in special arenas, or as large groups in Guild battles.

Players in Blade Wars can expect to dive into fierce battles and plunge through a myriad of unique, story-driven quests set in the Kung Fu world. Customizable skill combinations result in powerful attacks, generating extra bonus damage during a battle. The battle system is based on a dynamic algorithm that factors in everything from a player’s level to the time between attacks to the enemy’s position. Players are able to feign attacks, or dodge an opponents’ strikes.

The game incorporates many of the features found in ChangYou’s previously released title, Dragon Oath. Mounts, trading, guild battles, and daily events are all available in Blade Wars. Unlike Dragon Oath, Blade Wars uses a 2.5D graphics engine, mixing 2D and 3D graphics into an isometric view.
