Upon entering and playing the game, the first thing you must do is try to constantly increase the level of your character.  To increase the level of your character, you must earn experience points by defeating monsters and completing missions.  Your character will also expend Energy points upon gaining EXP points by completing missions and fighting with other monsters.  Energy points are crucial to the speed in which your character can level up.  You can also go to the Arena to battle other gamers and their characters, if you win you will be awarded items, which can improve your character.  Most importantly, the winner can claim the loser as their slave, the longer you enslave them, the more EXP points you will obtain.  Besides that, you can also have your slaves do dirty work for you as well.

Wandering around in the game of <Heroes of Kung Fu> can also be very dangerous.  There is a good chance you can be assassinated by other players, but those are the perfect opportunities for you to prove that your character is worthy of being called a hero.  Once you have established your reputation among the 6 kingdoms, you can elect officials to take care of relations with the other kingdoms leading your fellow citizens to declare war against the other kingdoms.

As for the <Heroes of Kung Fu> newbie’s, our system will recommend 3 advanced gamers for you to choose from to become your mentor.  Your mentor will guide and help you if you need his assistance.  After you have successfully chosen a mentor, you will receive a series of prizes and gifts.

At the beginning of the game we will give you 100 coupons, upon being promoted to the next rank we will give you 800 coupons.  Upon logging into the game for the first time, you can click on a button in the top right hand corner of the screen to receive a complimentary newbie gift bag.  This is just a little token of appreciation for returning to the Warring States period and helping with the war.

EXP Points Through defeating monsters and completing missions, your character can gain EXP points to level up.  Aside from gaining more EXP points, the skills of your character will also get stronger as your level increases.  On the left side of the screen under your character profile, the yellow bar will reveal how much EXP points you have and are needed to reach the next level.

Energy Points control the speed in which your character can level up.  The working class need not worry about not having time to train your character and create imbalance throughout the game. Usage of Energy Points:  Your Energy Points have a daily limit.  The amount of Energy Points you have determines the amount of Exp Points one can gain throughout the day.  As for a game that suits the working class, you need not worry about not having time to train your character thus creating imbalance throughout the game.

How to regain Energy Points: Every day at 00:00am, our system will automatically recover the Energy Points you used during the day before.  For normal accounts, our system will refresh and your character will regain 90 Energy Points.  For premium accounts, our system will refresh and your character will regain 102 Energy Points.

Other ways of obtaining Energy Points:  You may go to the Capital in Temple City’s Guest Room to exchange more Energy Points.  You will be able to use Gold to exchange for Energy Points, however there is a daily limit of how much Energy Points you may exchange.

Tasks: You may auto complete your tasks allowing you to level up your character even if you’re offline. There are 3 types of tasks.  Upon completing tasks you will be rewarded Exp points, items for your character and silver coins.  The tasks are crucial to the growth of your character and you must spend a lot of time and hard work to complete them.

Main Tasks:  You may go to the “Lobby” in the Capital to accept tasks.  These main tasks will award more Exp points upon completion and will also guide you to choose which Kingdom you want to belong to, what career to pursue and many more.

Daily Tasks: You may go to the “Task Organization” in the Capital to accept Daily Tasks.  The maximum number of Daily Tasks you may accept and complete is 20.  You may choose to auto-complete Daily Tasks, the time it takes vary, but is usually 30 minutes.  Though it may be slower than completing these Daily Tasks yourself, however you have the freedom to do other things during this time.  This is a feature designed for and caters to the working class.

There are 4 types of Daily Tasks and they all award different prizes.  You can complete different types of Daily Tasks based on what prizes you need.

Extended Tasks:  Extended Tasks have there own special storyline and also award rich prizes.  When you have time remember to go and complete these tasks.  Also, tasks that help your character level up in their career will also be in the Extended Tasks section.

Arena: Where you can fight other gamers online instantaneously. Fighting in the Arena is instantaneous; you can fight other gamers online and hone your fighting skills in the Arena.  If you win, your reputation will grow, this is also the only way for your character to exchange items and learn the secrets of Martial Arts.  At the same time as your reputation grows, you will be able to exchange it for silver coins, prestige, contributions to your country and materials to strengthen or refine your weapons.  However, the main use of the Arena is to enslave other gamers.

Slave Market: A place where you can use your skills to capture slaves. Once you have defeated your opponent in the Arena, their name will appear in the “Defeated” section in the Slave Market.  You can immediately challenge him/her and if you defeat them again, he/she will then become your slave.  If your slave gets taken away from you, you may go to your enemy list, teach the player who stole your slave a lesson and re-capture your slave.    The longer you hold your slave captive, the more EXP points you will receive.

Besides receiving EXP points, you can also command your slave to complete tasks for you.  However you can’t be too mean to your slave or they will try to redeem themselves and leave you.

Assassination: Play Heroes and you will experience the culture of an Assassin during the Warring States Period. An ancient proverb reads: If you are a kind person you will be bullied, if you are a kind horse you will be saddled.  The suburbs of the Warring States Period are very dangerous, if you’re not paying attention you may end up a dead man.

Once the sword icon next to the name is red, that mean you may proceed with the assassination.

Although the Warring States Period is a violent society, we still love the people who are passionate about peace and we will provide a safe passageway for them.  Once your PK status is set to “Peace”, no one will be able to attack you.  However, there are places that are still in chaos, upon entering these places your status will then be changed to “Killing Spree”

Power of the Player.  To go back in time and become a ruler in the Warring States Period. You can participate in elections during the Warring States Period.  If you win you will be able to handle affairs relating to your Kingdom and gain the respect of all your people.  The elected ruler will be able to determine the status of their Kingdom, whether they want to be allies, stay neutral or declare war and fight for your honor!

How to become a ruler?  Well, we employ a public voting system.  Each player who has a premium account can cast one vote to who they believe will be a great ruler.  The path to becoming an elected ruler is to gain respect from the player community; you can do so by showing off your charm in the chat room!

Mentorship: Newbie’s should not miss this opportunity. For a newbie to Heroes of Kung Fu, spend at least 30 seconds to find a mentor in which you can count on and apply to become the protégé.  Move your mouse to the bottom left of the screen and click on the icon that reads “Interactive”, and then click on the “Mentorship” to open the “Mentorship” page.  You may then choose a mentor and apply for mentorship in order to gain guidance throughout the game, you will also receive rich prizes as well.

Mentorship Prize:  Upon successful application of Mentorship within the first 3 hours of your very first log in, you will receive 100 coins.

Level Up Prizes:  Once your character reaches levels 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 you will receive a special protégé prize.
