Hamburg, January 4, 2010 – Within the scope of its international expansion, the Hamburg-based online game publisher and developer Bigpoint is expanding its personnel department. Gitta Blatt, 45, joined the Bigpoint team as Head of Human Resources on January 1, 2010.

In this newly created position, the native Hamburger is in charge of the entire personnel department. Mrs. Blatt is responsible for strategic personnel and organizational development, international recruiting, (up to and including management-level positions), and career and salary management. Her responsibilities also include the areas of employee compensation and benefits. She works closely with the management and will lend her support in all employee and labor law issues. She reports directly to Michael Gutsmann, CFO of Bigpoint GmbH.
