Welcome to medieval Europe – a time of daring knights and virtuous kings. Wars wage undoubtedly as sacred brethren and unwieldy foes battle for control of neighboring lands.
Dark Age Wars is a free to play browser-based strategy game modeled after the famous medieval city builders of the last decade. Thousands of players build and wage war on a true to scale map of Europe. NPC rebels, achievements, and land mark kingdoms such as Paris, England and the Holy Roman empire offer continuous single player and team game play.
Every player starts off as a knight having just returned home from the Crusade wars. The King of Nations has been giving all returning knights land to colonize and develop into mighty kingdoms. The outcome is up to you. Start with a plot of land and start construction and development of your economy, wood, iron and stone to build, and food for your populous. Next order the barracks to start training militia, spearmen and archers. Advance through the different stages of technology as you upgrade your buildings and units.
