by posted Feb 11,2010

In Activision Blizzard’s conference call, the 2009 fourth quarter has been reported, and the long awaited new game ‘StarCraft 2’ will begin its closed beta  late February, 2010, according to the Blizzard.

“The beta test will be conducted globally and operated in North America, Europe, Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia.

Activision CEO Mike Morhaime announced that while the beta of the game will begin before the end of February, the game itself has been scheduled for a ‘mid-2010’ release.  ‘StarCraft 2’ will be downloadable on Battle. net that is dedicated to covering all ACTIVISION Games, in which you can learn news, introductions and supports, and the updated information of Blizzard.

On the other hand, the profits at the 2009 fourth quarter has been effected somewhat due to Chinese Version of WOW, which may be closed forever. Chances are that NetEase will be fined with $ 1 Billion for its last year’s illegal operation.
