TransForce Newbie Walkthrough Guide

Transforce is a game about patience and learning, Things start off a bit hectic and you might not know exactly what is the best thing to build and when, but the easiest way to start off well is to follow the Quests given in the game. they will teach you about how to use different buildings and what buildings or research you need to have to have access to either certain different types of troops, more advanced skills/buildings etc.

HEROES:
I’ve found that one of the most obscure details about the game is Heroes. Most people don’t like talking about how to get renowned, how much they cost, why are they so good, and how to use their stats properly. Some people might argue with me on the last point but I’ve always had great success doing things my way since I’m a bit more patient. In terms of gaining a renowned, all you have to do is first build a hall of heroes, click on it, and there is a tab for renowned. Sounds simple right? Once you are in the tab for renowned, you will most likely see a timer counting down. This timer is for the following: every time it reaches 0, there is a CHANCE that a renowned will be in your hall. Once the renowned is there, IT WILL NOT LEAVE unless you “Visit” it. This means that no, you do not have to try and be online/checking your hall when the clock reaches 0 to try and get renowned. It can take days or even weeks before a renowned shows itself in the hall, according to things I’ve heard, the higher level your hall of heroes, the better the chance of finding a gv5 or gv6 which I’ll explain in a second. One is that higher level hall of heroes makes absolutely no difference in the % chance to actually recruit a hero. The other thing you can do if you are impatient is hit the refresh button next to the timer, this trigger’s the “satellite” item that you get in the xx reputation newbie chests and achievement chests. This finds a renowned instantly. Once there is a renowned, you have to “visit” them, this can take either 2hours for gv4, 4 hours for gv5 or 6 hours for gv6. You can increase your chances of recruiting them with cubes and energon and you can increase the speed of the visit with vehicles or aircrafts. If you happen to Visit a hero successfully, the cost of a gv4 is 100 token/matrix, gv5 is 400 token/matrix and gv6 is I think 800 token/matrix. You can also input code’s into your hall of heroes, every renowned has a code during the 72 hours that you have after visiting them successfully and recruiting them. If someone gives you a code, the cost of recruiting increases to 200 token/matrix for gv4 500 token/matrix for gv5 and 1000token/matrix for gv6.

What is gv?
Well, gv stands for growth value, and that is what differentiates a renowned and a normal hero. The higher gv, the more free points you get to add to stats every level. This means that the higher level you get, the bigger the gap in your hero’s stats vs one with a lower gv.

Leveling your hero:
Alright this is where some people opinions may differ slightly from my own. In terms of gaining exp, honestly, the most consistent way is with expiditions. If you do a lot of expiditions, you gain decent exp, a chest (bronze silver or gold) every expidition and also a chance of getting equipment that increases hero stats. Chests can contain extremely critical items such as constructions plans and tech blueprints, which get to short supply later in the game. Pointer: Do not waste plans and blueprints on research that takes only a couple hours. Personally, if my research takes less then 72 hrs, I will let it ride because I’d rather save the blueprint for the research that takes 500, 5000, 10000 or more hours, and yes you will get to that point. Anyway back to heroes, People get really obsessed with high chunks of exp from things like attacking other players on PVP servers and alliance war. 1-2 big chuncks of exp will never add up to the same as small consistent exp from things like expidition, especially if you try and do both, also if you do things like attack other players, you might lose all of your army, having to rebuild and your hero will be just sitting around. Having a higher lvl hero then anyone else is a big advantage because it means that you can carry the most troops. If you can carry 2000 and the other person can only carry 1500, it doesn’t matter if they have slightly stronger troops or higher research then you, you will still win.

You need to make sure you never waste a stat point all the way from level 1 or whatever level your hero is when you get it. The first thing to do is max out command “cmd”, every time you level, throw all of your point into cmd until it won’t let you anymore. Once yuo reach that point you need to decide on something more complicated, what kind of army do you want to have? Your hero’s stats compliment your troops stats so different hero build are useful for different troops. If you are using attacking troops ex: usually range 2, best examples are: autobot: othello guard3, ultimate guard3 (those are the only 2 good autobot troops as of right now) or decepticon: Death Fighter3, you want to put every free stat point that can’t go into cmd into Attack. The reason for this is these troops have great attacking power and kinda weak defense wise anyway, and since they are long-range, if you can raise your atk and kill all of the enemy’s troops in 1 shot, you don’t have to worry about anything else. Now, if you prefer to go with decepticon: Mirage spider3, which is basically the strongest troop is the game if used properly, you want to have a hero who has max cmd and every other stat into def. The reason behind this is, MS (mirage spider) are range1 which means if yuo are fighting a troops like DF (death fighter) and you cant survive their first attack, you won’t even be able to hit them, so you want to have a high def possible so you can survive that first big blow from the long-range units. Range1 units like MS have a great advantage attack wise already vs long-range once they get past the first blow.

That’s really it for heroes I guess I might do one on equipment if anyone wants.
